Hi
We think my lb may be intolerant to the cows milk protine our GP has refered us to the hospital for this however this morning his symptoms seem to have got worse
His cheeks are redder than normal and look more pain full
He's only taking an oz of bottle at a time (took an hour and a half to get 3oz in him)
He's spitting up more (prob about and oz of his bottle)
He sound like he needs to cough (if that makes sence)
And is thrashing his arms and legs around a lot more which I am not sure may be makinging his breathing heavier.

I may be making this 100 times worse in my head than it actually is but i am a first time mum and have anixty over my lb (which I am working on) or could be my sleep deprived state (he normally sleeps really well but has been up since 2am today)

Thank

It sounds as if it could be CMPI.

My son had reflux and displayed a lot of those symptoms.

Reflux can be a symptom of CMPI.

Has the Dr seen the rash? He’s 9 weeks old so I would definitely contact 111 if you are concerned.
My sons symptoms definitely got worse round about that age.

But take no chances - and if Dr has not seen rash I would be tempted to go to A&E. Take no chances

The Dr seen the rash but it's got a lot worse we took him to A&E as he was not having his bottles (5oz in 12 hours) and the rash was getting worse and spreading. we have just got back now they basically think it is the CMPI but he is also starting with a viral infection which is making it harder for him to take his bottle

luckily he took at bit more bottle when we where there and as long as he has 12oz in 24 hours they are happy for him to await his appointment in 3 weeks for the CMPI to be confirmed
