Glandular fever

Hi my teenage daughter caught glandular fever last year and ever since has been unlucky enough to catch a cold literally once. Month and gets quite poorly with it
The last time she was diagnosed with flu
Anyone recommend a vitamin or supplement to take as I feel it's her immune system
She is about to start gcse and could do without her being constantly ill throughout

I caught GF a couple of years ago and started taking orange flavour Vit C & Zinc effervescent drink things every morning for quite a while because I had heard that your immune system takes a blow. Not sure if I'm just lucky (I have a strong immune system) or if it actually worked but I have not been ill any more often than normal - the odd cold here and there when it's going around.
Don't need Berroca, supermarket brand will do.
