My DS has Scarlet Fever 10 days ago - we are on the last days of amoxicillin.
We were at out of hours Tuesday night as he had a high temp. Thought it was viral (he sounded bunged up) but wanted to get it checked out. All OK. Temp stayed high next day but was Ok by Thursday morning.
It’s climbing again today and he’s cuddling into saying he’s cold and his ear is hot.
Still bunged up from cold. Not super high but about 38.1 at moment.
I will phone 111 again if needed but don’t want their time as I wouldn’t normally take him to Drs so quickly with a temp.
It’s just the Scarlet Fever that’s worrying me.
Just wondering how other kiddies were. My eldest also had it and she’s been perfectly fine since.
