Poo size [title edited by MNHQ - pic removed]

Since she's been having cow's milk instead of formula my DD 13 months has been having problems pooping. She eats lots of veg and I really don't think that there's anything else that we could do diet wise. It's not really that she's constipated but can't pass the size of poo that her body is creating. She can strain several times before actually going and has on occasions cried out when passing it.

Any suggestions or is this a normal size for a slightly small 13 month old and she's just getting used to it.

I'd be grateful for any advice. TIA

OP, we had an awful lot of reports about the pic in your OP - understandably so, really. We've removed it from your post now.

To all those folk who reported, we can understand why you did. We can see that OP has been around a couple of years and has contributed to other topics. So, for now, we'd like to give the benefit of the doubt.

We know that MNers post on the boards wanting advice on the trickier (and ickier) aspects of parenting - dirty nappies and all - but the visual image was probably a step too far for most people.

Hope you get some good advice, OP, and sort things out for your DD -
but please no more poo pics on the talk boards.

Thanks.

We see your point, OP. Yes, we're parents too and we've changed more than our share of nappies in our time. It was also considerate of you post a warning in the thread title.

But, that said, our way of thinking is that if a photo on the boards has the potential to put you off your tea, then it's crossed a line.

We're afraid that the pic in your OP did cross that line, and we got a lot of reports to prove it. But we're leaving your thread standing in the hope that you'll get the advice you were seeking along with some answers and help for your DD asap.
