Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone knew what this was before I go to the drs and waste their time, it looks like a bite but this is the 7th time it’s come up in exactly the same spot! And it disappears as quickly as it reappears. I check everything before I put clothes on him, nothing has been changed or have we gone anywhere in particular when it’s happened, it happens randomly no other signs of anything no other spots or rash, temp, it’s really strange, if it was a bite it wouldn’t just be one single spot in exactly the same place every time, just want to know if anyone else has experienced this with their little one? Thank you.

Is it a mark from the tape on a disposable nappy?

tg123 · 10/02/2018 23:41

Thank you for the reply, I fold the nappy over the tabs, so it doesn’t rub. I use pampers and check them before I put them on and after to make sure.

It looks like a hive that I get on my face. Usually in response to a change in temp. Could it be that??
