chicken pox day 6 still feverish - normal?

Dd is 6 and is still having high temps on day 6 of chicken pox the temp didn't start till day 2/3 really. Didn't seem ill at all before spots came out. Is this normal? Thanks.

I think there is a huge range of normal with chickenpox. If there are no signs of any infected spots I wouldn’t worry but if they are angry or have very red rings round them and he is poorly I would contact the doctor, 111 or even a pharmacist for advice.

There is a couple that look angrier than others but they seem to improving. No red rings though. Gave calpol at about 4am this morning so will see how she when she wakes up.
