Superhero medical masks?

We have good friends with a son who was diagnosed soon after birth with cystic fibrosis. He is now requiring nebuliser treatment and I'd like to find a way to make this treatment more bearable for the little boy. Does anyone know of any way of dressing up the equipment? The mask needs to be washed everytime so needs to be something suitable for this. Or even just some tips on how to help him adjust to the treatment. Any ideas?

We used to have a nebuliser mask like a dragon - a bit like this one. The hospital gave it to us. We also had a spare mask so a teddy could do nebs at the same time.

Thanks for the reply. Teddy doing nebs sounds like a good idea too. I think the hospital have just given basic equipment at the moment so might say they could ask for a mask like that.
