Hi All

Can anyone identify this on DD's lip. She has had it for over two weeks, it has not spread anywhere.

We've been to the docs twice and where prescribed fucidin cream but it has not made any difference. Doctor was very dismissive when we went after two of no change and said to continue with cream.

Any ideas?

Looks like Impetigo OP...haven't you been to see the doctor?

furryelephant · 06/02/2018 05:02

OP says she’s seen the doctor twice and had fucidin cream (impetigo treatment) Hmm

It looks quite like a cold sore to me but not sure it would stil be there after so long. Is it sore?

clairethewitch70 · 06/02/2018 05:43

Ringworm?

flumpybear · 06/02/2018 05:52

I was about to say ringworm too
Has it made her lips puffy or does she just have very full lips? Ask to see another doctor

Thanks people. She has very full lips anyway. School thought it was impetigo hence first trip but doc was not sure as no gunky bit. But gave fuciden anyway.

Think you are right back to docs but feels a bit ott when we've been twice already and it's not bothering her and not spreading.
