Physio referral time in Bucks?

Hi has anyone had recent experience of how long a childs physio referral has taken, especially if in the south Buckinghamshire area?

DD has suspected inflation in the growth plate in her foot so the doctor referred her about 3 wks ago as she can't put her heel down, now the other foots started being painful and she's struggling walking her her toes.

Was only one foot when we saw the doctor, going to see if I can get a telephone appointment tomorrow and update that it's now both feet, not sure if it will make a difference to the waiting time.

The poor things in tears most days.

I would give them a call on Monday to chase up if you haven't already

Spoke to our normal GP on Friday (saw a different one the other week) who gave me the number to chase the Physio outpaitence directly and said if I got no joy then to call back next week and she would try to increase the urgency.

They said they are only just booking Novembers referrals but she would check they had at least received my DD's from the GP, I'm glad she checked as instead of going to the main hospital she is down to be seen at a smaller local one which normally has a much shorter waiting time.
I will be calling them on Monday, if they have nothing within the next couple of weeks I will go back to the GP and see what she can do.
