Chicken pox!

DS is in year 1, DD is in reception at the same school.

Chicken pox has been going around like wildfire through those years.

DS finally came down with it yesterday afternoon. No other illness/aches. He's handling it like a champ.

DD has been snotty nosed since Thursday and on Saturday she complained of earache. Woke up in the night crying too. Then Sunday she developed some white spots on her tonsils - took her to docs today and she has tonsillitis.

DS and DD spend a lot of time together, at home and at school. They play together and eat lunch together. They share a bedroom (beds on opposite sides of the room) and sometimes share a bath if we don't have much time.

If DS started getting spots yesterday - how long would you estimate it would be until DD caught it?

Could be up to 10 days I think. Don't give ibuprofen!

14 days between our two. DD1 also has recurrent tonsillitis and the younger one never caught it at all. A lot of friends were also about the two weeks as well.
