When he was around 1 or 2 he had problems with constipation and when talking to the doctor I mentioned he looked like he had a pile, not visible on day of appointment and doctor said it was very unlikely to be piles due to age so it would be X - I've forgotten what X was, but a collection of blood due to a burst blood vessel.
I've just been wiping up and again spotted 2 purple looking piles that are dark. He's well in himself and not constipated, not in pain and no bleeding - do I just leave alone? He has had a vomitting bug I wonder if the strain from that caused it.
Further info: My son had a rectal prolapse when he was born which went away shortly after birth as far as I know (a mucosal prolapse visible after pooing when I was wiping, not seen after 3 months or so)
I don't feel like he needs to see a doctor, and especially as he has a bug he should be kept away from vulnerable people I just wondered if it was worth an appointment next week. I have a picture this time!
