Poorly child - Day 1, temp was 39 down with calpol - ok in self - (sitting watching TV).

Will ring GP - but just wanted first thoughts or any thoughts-

Have you done the tumbler test? How old is child?

Probably a virus of some sort but I would get checked out, especially if child is young.
