Dd 2 has been offered the spray vaccine. Has anyone dc had it and did they get any side effects?

No side effects with DD at all.

I work with lots of unwell people, probably between 10-40 people every week. I did not want to give DD flu.

I had the jab, she could of caught it from school etc. I just felt better, us both being protected as much as we could be.

Thank you. I know some people can have flu symptoms straight after. So was a little worried.

My 4 year old had it on Tuesday and has been absolutely fine. My 7 year old has a chronic illness and is on an immunosuppressant and about to start on an another, so we all had it to try to protect her as flu is very dangerous for her.

Dc had it 6 days ago. No symptoms so far.

My DD had this spray, and the next evening she started getting congestion and had a slightly raised temperature. This cleared up in just over a day.

It can’t have been pleasant for her, but I would much rather her have a day of these symptoms than x amount of time with severe flu.

Thank you all. Been trying to make a decision on this for a while. Will take her in today for it.
