I have received a text from DDs class that there is headlice.

She has long knotty hair that is a pain in the bum to brush! Nearly down to her bum when wet.

What stuff can you advise to use to kill them ASAP? If she has them that is!

My DD has long, curly and knotty hair too. I got them to go by using the conditioner method.

You basically cover their hair with TONNES of cheap conditioner and then nit comb it....wiping the comb as you go onto tissue to collect any eggs.

You have to do it daily for a week and then once every three days for two weeks.

And plait it for school or put in a bun to avoid catching them.

Hedrin is wonderful - buy it at boots. Note that when you go to wash it out you need to put a ton of shampoo on your child's head BEFORE wetting their hair.

I've checked her and i can't see anything.. it is very light blonde which helps!

I'm going to get some cheap conditioner with my online shopping that's being delivered tomorrow and use the nit comb anyway.

Then if I do see any - I will get hedrin!

Thank you :)
