Teenager having a tooth out

I'm being a wimp but I wonder if anyone could just tell me what to expect. Teen Dd is having a tooth out at the dentist tomorrow ahead of having a Brace fitted. It's one of the teeth at the front so she'll have a jab to numb her mouth at her normal dentist rather than a general anaesthetic or anything.

I feel stupidly nervous for her, although obviously I haven't shown her this. She is scared of the jab more than anything and I've been able to reassure her on that score but I've never had a tooth out so don't know what to expect. Will it take long?! Will there be a lot of blood? Any reassurance gratefully received.
