Tips on how to give medicine

My 3mo has been prescribed ranitidine for her reflux... she needs to have 1ml 3 times a day... problem is it tastes gross and she retches and spits it out if I use the syringe... doctor said I can't mix it with her milk because if she doesn't finish the whole bottle then there's no knowing if she got the full 1ml of medicine... any tips?

Put the medicine in with a small amount of milk first then give he rest of the milk once the medicated one has been drunk? That's what we used to do for my preemie twins vitamins. X
