Hi :)
Just looking for advice, ideas if anyone else's child has gone through this.
Ds is 2 and a half.
He keeps having these weird episodes, even in his sleep. I'll post a couple of examples everytime time it starts with going bright red in the face staring and grunting (as if he was a baby trying to poo) then out of no where a random energy out burst,
He might start running around for a few seconds.
Jump up and down.
He's been asleep woken up doing his red face and grunting jumping up and down on the bed.
Been strapped in the car seat so can't get up so instead he flaps his arms really fast.
This happens everyday sometimes more then once.
I have been to our Gp twice about this and he's not concerned atall. But I am I just want to know what it is it's scary! He questioned it being behavioural... can't see it being behavioural if it happens in his sleep 🙈 or trapped wind... ask ds if he's hurting anywhere hes says no.
He even mentioned seizures but he doesn't think it is as hes conscious at the time.
I just need answers 😣

I think it COULD be seizures. What happens at the end of the episode? Does he flake out, cry, or act completely normal? I would video some episodes and show them to a different doctor. Good luck!

Acts completely normal afterwards it's so strange. Deffo going to see another doctor about it. He's in for surgery on Monday for a hydrocele so hopefully whilst there I'll be able to speak to someone.
