Dd had this for a few weeks now. Started off as a small hard lump but has now grown in size. She says it feels itchy. TIA

Potentially...can you see a black spot in the middle?

calli335 · 03/01/2018 07:38

Thanks Jolly. Can't see a black spot.

Looks like a blister. Verruccas have a black spot which is a blood vessel in the middle.

That looks very like a verruca to me. They don’t always have a black dot, the dot is caused by bleeding under the skin. The flat bit of skin looks like the top of it.

Probably verucca, but it does look quite inflamed and slightly swollen. Has she been scratching it?

calli335 · 03/01/2018 08:20

Thanks for replies. She hasn't scratched it much. It's quite hard although does look like a blister on the pic. I'll treat it as a verruca I think.

I would wait and see if it clears up first.

Wart treatments are very harsh and could really damage the skin if used on skin which is already blistered/damaged.

The pic above looks exactly like my daughters ‘lump’ on her foot. What did it turn out to be calli335 ? And how did you get rid of it? Thanks 😊

Anyone find out what this is? My daughter has the same thing, called pharmacist as our doctors is shut and they said it didn’t sound like a verruca as it’s itchy. It’s really annoying her & I’m not sure what it is!
