Daughter has scab on her face which she will not stop picking, to the point where I think it has become a habit! It has healed almost completely twice now but she manages to reopen it. I've just got to the point again where it seemed to fully healed (I think she'll be left with a scar) but it must have been last night (she was disturbed through the night with a cough) she has opened it again, it's driving me mad! She knows she's getting attention when she does it and I also think that doesn't help.
There's not many lotions and potions I've not tried, I did cover with a plaster for a little while which helped but they gave her a mark where it had been. Please does anyone have any advice at all- it's really getting me down and also driving me mad!! I just want her lovely face to get better now 😔
I've wondered about asking gp about a dermatology referral but I suppose their job is to work oout why skinis not healing and we kknow why it's not healing - she keepsbloody picking it!!!! 😱
