Viral shedding from flu spray or something else?

Dd wasn’t well enough to get the spray at the same time as her school friends this month. Four days ago she became ill with a cough which made her a bit sick, malaise, aches and pains and temperature. she is still no better and I’m worried - this isn’t like a normal cold. She’s so pale and quiet, she sleeps most of the day and night and won’t eat as she says she feels sick. She saw the doctor yesterday who gave her a brown inhaler as she’s only recently been diagnosed with asthma. He just said the rest is a bug.
I just don’t know what this is! How long is it going to go on for! She seemed a lot more chatty and alert yesterday so the doctor hasn’t seen what I’m seeing while she’s at home.
Anyone else had similar with their dc’s?

I'm convinced ds 4 has flu. In a similar position and also missed the spray. He napped on Sunday (not napped since he was 2) and since Monday morning has had a high temperature and spiking once a day at 39-40. He has a snotty nose and is sleeping most the day and night. But he is taking in lots of fluids and also eating little and often. We have had to carry him from the bed to sofa in the morning and vice versa plus carry him to the toilet as he says his legs hurt a lot. Never seen him this ill. Poor kids. Dd is now complaining of shivers and feeling sick, she looks white and has gone to bed. Christmas is probably looking like a quiet one at home with no visitors! Hope your dd gets well soon.

Sounds the same - I have it too now and feel absolutely gutted that this has happened at Christmas!
