Is this also molluscum contagiosum?

My daughter has molluscum contagiosum all over her legs etc and these (see photos) have appeared on her arms. Do you think this is also MC? I am going to ask the pharmacist tomorrow but they look so different to the others on her leg (bigger, different shape etc).

Poor DD, this is really making her miserable. The arm lumps have appeared so very quickly and seem so large.

Those look quite different to the MC my daughter had. I hope the pharmacist/GP can help-MC is miserable so I sympathise! DD’s lasted nearly a year but then suddenly disappeared.

I agree that doesn't look like Molluscum. All three of my dc have had it and it never looked like that.

Doesn't look like my DDs MC either. They look a bit like hives from the photo but hopefully a pharmacist can shed some light?

Thanks. They look v diff to me too. Agh, poor DD now has both. Heading to the pharmacist first thing. Ironically picking up some MC treatment this dm I have had ordered in. Appreciate the replies.Smile

I agree they dont look like molluscum. More like boils but the photos are blurred. Have a look at the photos on this site to compare with the stages of molluscum. www.mollenol.com/molluscum-home-treatment/

They do not look like molloscum to me. More like fluid-filled blisters, hives or lesions. Not a doctor though. If they go down with antihistamines, then I guess they are hive-type things.
