Repeated bouts of sickness bugs

Hi Guys,

I have 2 kids, 6years and 4 years. Over the last 8 weeks they have had 7 sickness bugs between them. Not bad ones. Sick over a say 2 hour period a few times, sleep and then fine. Kept off school for 48 hours. However, they just keep getting it and getting it and I am a little concerned. I called the Docs and they said, as expected, nothing they can do. I have cleaned everything with anti bacterial, door knobs, the works, washed everything, new tooth brushes, even bought a steam cleaner and new duvets for them! There a is a high percentage of kids that have had sickness bugs in the same period at their school and the nursery school. Some of which have had multiple bouts like mine. I contacted the school to raise my concern and got some politicians answer. What would you advise as I feel like just taking them both out for the last week of term as it seems to be never ending. Thanks. any advice welcome.

Make sure that they are fastidious with handwashing. Lunchtimes/ after using the toilet and especially when leaving School. Don’t give them anything to eat until they have thoroughly washed their hands after School.
