Are there any sunscreens which anyone would recommend for a 5 week old baby? We are planning on taking him abroad for new year and would like to know what would be best for his skin.

Cover him up and keep him in the shade. From a temperature body heat point of view, an infant shouldn't be in direct sun. You can easily find sun umbrellas and tents for babies on line. Best for skin and baby overall.

Yes yes to the shade etc but if you want to put something on skin as well, I like Cetaphil Kids 50+ as it's very non-greasy and effective. I live in South Africa and the odd ray does hit the infant skin no matter how many parasols etc. Also offer plenty of feeds to maintain hydration.
