Strawberry Birthmarks in older children

Just wondering if anyone else's child still has/had a Strawberry birthmark at 9? It is on her definitely much smaller than it used to be but I reckon it's stopped shrinking. I am really unconvinced it is going to entirely disappear. She isn't bothered about it at all (and I generally don't notice it tbh), but I think if it stays how it is now then it may bother her in the future. Does anyone know what if anything can be done about them once DC are in their teens etc?

My son is 11 and his strawberry mark is nearly gone.
I was told it should have been gone by the time he was 5.

Thanks so that is reassuring that his has continued to shrink for longer, it is a case of just continuing to wait then I guess. I always have in the back of my mind that everyone said it will go by 5/7/ younger than she is now other than one GP who seemed less convinced it would. In any case its only a problem if it bothers her, but I can just see secondary school looming and remember what being a teenage girl is like.

Dd1 is 7 and it's massively shrunk, its more of a speckled splodge now. It's no longer thick and raised. It's on her back.

DD8 has hers. It has shrunk but is large really and on her shoulder. Children do comment. I was told it would disappear but I am not sure how much it will change from now on.
