Baby bumped his head?

I feel so guilty as I should have been paying more attention but my 10 month old was crawling in the kitchen and slipped on some water on the floor and bashed the front of his head on the lino. He has a red mark just above his eye. Ever since he has been sleepy, he’s awake now but just sat in his rocker watching tv. He hasn’t been sick and has eaten.
Should I take him up to the walk in just in case?

No he’ll be fine. Just keep an eye.

I’m sure he’ll be fine Smile my DD recently walked and fell head first into the piano leg. Huge bump but absolutely fine. Just keep an eye on him and anything worrying give 111 a call Smile

Hi OP, my 15m old is always bumping her head, coffee table, dining chair, high chair, radiator.
She'll cry a bit, red mark, sometimes a bump but she's fine, it happens, the little monkeys are so quick.

Thank you everyone. It was cos he was so drowsy and hard to rouse straight afterwards that scared me but I think he just had a bit of a headache and seems back to his normal self now. Scary!

I spent all night staring at my dd after as it was just before bed! Sometimes I think as parents we convince ourselves they’re more sleepy than usual or other symptoms as we worry so much GrinBlush

He was sick quite badly about an hour ago while giving him his baby rice before bed.. do you think it’s a coincidence or should I start to worry?

Is he generally quite sicky? I’m sure it’s more than likely just a coincidence especially as falling from crawling isn’t a great height but I’d probably err on the side of caution and ring 111. How does he seem otherwise?

He can occasionally be sick, I would say he’s been sick like he was tonight 3 times since we started weaning him.
He started to fall asleep in his rocker so we put him to bed about 8.30 and he’s been asleep since. Been in to check on him. DH is saying I’m being dramatic and I don’t need to take him to see anyone. Men Confused

It was with the first mouthful of baby rice that he vomited.. it was as though he had swallowed it the wrong was or something.

Sorry for messages! He was ok in himself this afternoon if not a bit lethargic. He ate his lunch and was laughing at his programmes on tv. Towards the evening he was crying and screaming but he can get like that if he’s tired so it hard to tell.
