Post-operative crepitus/emphysema/bubbles

Could anyone advise how long post operative crepitus/emphysema can lurk? Two weeks after laparoscopic appendectomy my daughter still has bubbles easily felt in her abdomen.
Can it cause a problem? Googling I can’t find much out. Thank you

If she's otherwise well I wouldn't worry. Very common after lap surgery, I'd be surprised if it's not gone in the next few days.
