Suggestions for really sore throat.....

Anyone got any suggestions. Failing miserably to get her a doctor's appointment. She rarely complains about anything so i know it must be bad. Saying it hurts really really bad to even just swallow. Does anyone have any ideas how to help her & what to dose her up with?

give paracetamol or ibuprofen, that should help with the pain.
how old?
if dc can gargle, mouthwash is antiseptic so can help with infection.

Spoonful of honey helps too.
