Blurred margins of optic disc

I have just been told that one of my daughters eyes has blurred margins around her optic disc. She has been referred to see ophthalmologist. She’s only 5. Has glasses +3.5 and +4 due to left eye turn. What could cause this. I’m very worried.

Optic nerve drusens?

Is that the most likely cause? She’s otherwise healthy x

Her appointment has been made urgent so she’s being seen in just over a week. I’m so worried. Any hand holders please?
