Heart murmur

I found today my 4 year old has a heart murmur. Have to take him for a X-ray and ecg. He also has night sweats, could that be because of the heart murmur?? He is low in iron as well.

If it's a heart defect, then yes, sweatiness can be caused by this as the heart could have to work harder to pump the blood around (same as doing excercise). In itself a heart murmur doesn't mean it's necessarily bad news, lots of people have a heart murmur and are fine. An ECG should give some answers.
