Hi everyone,
Dd3 is on day three of this rash. It's dry and not itchy. Started out on her thighs and worked it's way up! Any opinions welcome as I'm preg and slightly concerned!

Anyone recognise this rash?

What has the GP said?

bitofabelly · 13/10/2017 19:36

Assume you have done tumbler test for meningitis..could be a heat rash / viral infection rash..gp will know

Not taken her to gp she's fine otherwise, and rash does disappear under glass x

It looks like what ds has the doctor said it was a skin infection and put him on antibiotics for a week and to put cream on him after a bath and stop using bubble bath they have now started to clear up .

Thanks Giveronyoursausage! I've been putting coconut oil on her since yesterday and it's definitely less pink, it looks like it's starting to fade luckily. Hope your lo's skin is much better really soon :)

God don't use coconut oil on her. It's an Instagram fad that people think is actually good for skin. It isn't - it's pore and sink blocking and best kept to a wok

I'd try an anti histamine to rule out an allergy first of all

choccybiscuit · 15/10/2017 21:18

Could be a viral rash. Rosea?

flumpybear · 15/10/2017 21:41

Take her to the GP tomorrow - it’s probably a viral rash but take her to check

Ragusa · 18/10/2017 23:46

Is she well-ish in herself? Fully vaccinated?
If so I am going with Roseola or post viral rash.
