I’m not trying to seek a diagnosis but the Drs are pretty lame at addressing this. My DC has had this skin condition since birth, first suspected it could be eczema as I suffer with it. He only has this ‘rash’ like condition on the outside tops of his legs and outside tops of both arms nowhere else. Doesn’t scratch it doesn’t bother him in the slightest. I’ve tried changing washing powders using all types of creams for eczema prescribed by the Dr even steroid cream and using absolutely nothing and it hasn’t changed in the slightest. Can anybody recognise what it could be?

Keratosis Pilaris?
I have it and it’s quite common, I used to have it all over my legs, arms, bum and cheeks when I was younger but I now only have it bad on my arms and maybe a tiny bit on my thighs.
It doesn’t bother me at all, I’ve only found the sun works at getting rid of it for me though and that’s only temporary but moisturising daily helps to control it a lot too.

Looks just likely DS eczema to me. Same places too. It doesn't itch him much either. I moisturise it but it never really goes away just stops it getting very bad. I do find fairy non bio to be the best washing stuff and have stopped using fabric conditioner altogether.

Thanks for the replies. Il try the no fabric conditioner on his things thanks for the tip. I’m glad it doesn’t bother him but if I can help it clear up a bit il try Smile

No worries countdown. I take it you’ve tried the glass test? I always think if yes a rash that is spreading it should get checked out by a health professional. Are there any other symptoms?
