Talk to me about threadworms

Boak!
DS (4) has been complaining about itchy bum. I can see no signs of threadworms. Could it still be them?

They come out at night 🤢

We got told on a letter from school that you're meant to check they're bottom when they're sleeping with a torch! If he's complaining of itching if say it's likely.

It could be....sometimes you'll see them in poo...check daily....also if you check bum at night when they're sleeping...lovely!!!..

Wash hands and nails well and often...try and shower down bottom in the morning to wash away eggs!!..

The joys!

They come out in the warmth and dark of nighttime.
Go to the chemist, buy Ovex. one dose tomorrow, another in a fortnight. Job done.
Loads less hassle than nits.

Bad idea to put a onesie on him tonight then!
