Do I need to call 111 for DS?

DS is 3 years old, seemed fine all day, refused to eat breakfast and had a tiny bite of lunch (this is common, he has autism and severe food issues). He started a new nursery this week so I didn't think much of him falling asleep on the sofa this afternoon, assumed he was tired out from his first week back.

I woke him at 5pm and he was hot all over and his whole body was shaking. A bit pale looking. Tried to give him some dinner, he wasn't interested. Took temp at 37.6°C. He had a sip of juice. He has very limited speech and no understanding to tell me how he feels (hot/cold/sleepy etc). He has just thrown up all over himself and is now very slowly eating a sausage.

Still shaking but is now coming and going. Temp is the same. Not sure whether to just keep an eye overnight and go to Dr's in the morning if necessary or call 111 to have him seen tonight.

Call 111

I'd call 111, if you havent already. The shaking would be my concern and they can assess him and take it from there. Hooe he gets well soon

I would definitely call 111.

Have called now, realised almost immediately after posting that if I had to ask it was better to be safe than sorry, just waiting on a call back from a nurse. DS still hot and shaking a bit floppy have explained all to 111, now just hoping for the best.

I hope you took your "floppy" son to a&e

I hope he's okay now OP? It sounds like what my son gets like when he has low blood sugars.
