Chicken pox experiences

DD 16 months developed chicken pox last Tuesday only 6 spots to begin with. Saturday was the last day she had new spots and by Sunday her temperature seemed to have started to come down and she was happier. Today her spots seem to have mostly scabbed over but she is much more clingy, snotty and crying today. When will she start to feel better?

My son is 16 months and is very unsettled today, lots of crying, temperature, snotty and has spots (not loads but they are spread all over). I haven't had it confirmed though, did you OP?

No I went to see the pharmacist in the first day who said she was 99% certain it was chicken pox caught early and by day 4 there was no mistaking it as her face and back were covered.

I seem to recall a high temp towards the end of chickenpox but it's a few years ago so can't really remember. I do recall having a call with the GP though so must have been something!!

It could also be something else working on her. At that age they can get one virus after another. With my boy especially he rarely got the chance to recover from 1 cold before he was floored by another.
We're still waiting for chicken pox her for him. He's nearly 3 and my eldest had it by this age. Keen for him to get it soon
