Emergency GP appointment or A&E??? Pic included

Phoned GP and they said if he has no temp or other significant symptoms, he should come in this afternoon (appointment at 4pm) but I'm beginning to worry more and more and think A&E would be the best bet??? My son is 11 btw

Looks like erythema multiforme, my ds2 got it when he was 12 or 13. He ended up being admitted overnight but a course of antihistamine and steroids cleared it up.
