Hi
My 8 yr old dd has just come running in from her friends house saying theres poo in my bum when I've bin jumping on the trampoline!she said she didn't/doesn't need a poo& didn't feel she needed one at all.just started jumping then thought suddenly she could feel poo come down so rushed home.she's wiped herself& sorted it out.none in her knickers& has now gone bk to her friends house.
Should I be worried or just leave it&see it as a one off?

Well it's not a prolapse. I suspect she was a bit constipated and the exercise made it all move along a bit quicker than she could cope with. I'd just leave well alone unless it recurred a few times.

She's not constipated.she goes at least once a day a lot of times more than that!
She's come bk in now saying she needs one!thatso about half an hrs in between.

Crumbs how on earth would you know it's not a prolapse!?
OP just keep an eye on it- trampolining does cause pressure on the area- get her checked out if it happens again- rectal prolapses are not unheard of in children

Also OP just because she goes regularly doesn't mean she isn't constipated. In fact going numerous times a day can be a sign of constipation- there are lots of threads on here about constipation if you want more info on that

Thanks Inspace going once or up to 3 or 4 times a day has always been the norm for dd.will keep an eye on her&get it checked if it happens again.
