3 yr old leg pain

My DD is 3 and has been suffering from leg pain for a little while. It is only in one leg and she has started screaming in pain about 2hrs after going to bed. She is often very hot and sweaty and it takes a long while to calm her down and get her back to sleep.
I thought growing pains but now I'm not so sure. She has also started saying her leg hurts during the day and it is always the same one.
Anyone had similar?

Hi there, thought it would be nice for you to receive a reply! I posted about a similar thing recently but got no responses. My 9 yo son frequently wakes and complains of foot and leg pain. It seems to occur at night/evening but it has happened in the day occasionally. I assumed it was growing pains too and he described it as cramp. I googled and found out growing pains shouldn't occur in just one leg, so about a month ago I took him to the gp. She referred us for urgent physio (we are due 2nd session next week). Physio thinks it's possibly the way he walks; he has been given exercises. After 6 sessions if there is no improvement we are looking at scans and blood tests. I tend to err on the anxious side so I have been worried about it.

I'd get her to the GP. Advice here says that if it's only one leg to seek advice

I'd press for a blood test personally. If it's persistent and waking her.

Thank you so much for your replies, I wasn't sure if I was being neurotic.
I will make her an appointment with the GP.
