Boil or what?

Hello all, my daughter has a boil, it started as a spot then grew and grew. I tried to squeeze it, it was too painful for her and got infected after.
I took her to the doctor they gave us antibiotics.
It doesn't seem to be getting any smaller or 'blowing up'

That looks really nasty - poor thing! If the antibiotics don't seem to be working, I'd give 111 a call. I'm guessing it's infected, and that's not the kind of thing to take risks with.

Looks huge on the picture, or is that just because the camera is very close? I'd definitely want a second opinion at the doctors surgery.

How big is the boil? How old is she? When did she start the course of antibiotics?

She's 3, antibiotics since last Thursday, and I went to the hospital today. They will drain it tomorrow
