Odd Crustiness on DS Ear

This appeared at the start of the week...he says it isn't itchy or sore but looks nasty - we've been away this week swimming lots in a private pool, wondering if it might be connected?

could be. looks like a skin infection. warm damp place to all sorts of germs to thrive and the skin between lobe and head easily broken.
keeping it clean and dry should clear it up. if it gets worse see a pharmacist.

My DS gets this sometimes. Keep it clean and dry. A spot of Sudocrem helps.
