Dd 5 saying it's very itchy and stingy, have booked doctors for the morning but does anybody have an idea of what it is as it's driving my daughter mad and making her very irritable!

Ringworm?

Could be a tick bite, you are doing the right thing to see the GP.

Are you in an area for Lyme disease?

Looks either ringworm or allergy related.

Start with nhs choices website, on there you will find a common children's rash gallery, May help you match up the rash.
It will also advise on treatment.

Alternatively take her to your nearest chemist, ask the pharmacist to have a look, they usually have private consulting room, have 7 years training, including minor illness, are a fantastic under used service and will save a gp appointment as you can probably treat with over the counter medication with their expert advice.
