low energy 4 year old

Hello,

I'm starting to worry about my nearly 4 year old (he's 4 in two months) energy levels.

His sleep is a bit crap, we battle to get him asleep around 8/8:30 and he tends to sleep 11 hours, often waking but not always. This is about as good as we can get it.

He has loads of energy one minute then is too tired to go for a walk / park etc. Short walks often end up with him being carried or perching on his brothers buggy. He just sits on the ground. He never wants to go anywhere, and it's always a battle to get him ready to get out, although he usually likes doing stuff and will bomb around a soft play.

He looks pale & tired all the time. Dark circles and also hates the sun, says he wants it 'shady'.

Today he refused to walk to his grandparents because the sun was out and he wanted to go in the car. It's a 5-10 minute walk, a bit longer for a little person but not far!

I don't know if it's just a difficult age or whether there is something he's lacking or symptoms of something? He eat a good variety of foods.

Symptoms are:
Pale & tired looking
Very unsettled sleep - tired but can't sleep
Doesn't like outdoorsy things like walks in woods, park but only to be pushed on swing
Irritable - screams rather than communicates
Odd behaviour if the situation is different from the norm, e.g other friends coming along who he doesn't know so well
Poos pants regularly
Spiteful e.g if I say 'These are yummy, he'll shove every last one into his mouth and look at me with a look in his eye like he wants to upset
Hits
Can't cope with sharing

I appreciate most of this is normal 3-4 year old stuff but wanted to paint a pic of him.

He is funny, chatty, bright and loving too!

Is it simply that he is tired because he's nearly 4 and has a busy life and loads of development going on?

Or could he be deficient in something? Something else going on?

Do gps do blood tests for these kind of concerns?

Thank yo
