Hi my 10year old daughter has started having nose bleeds they started a month ago she had 1-2 a day over 3 days then they stopped. Now she has started with them again just wondering is they are common in children or weather I should seek medical advise?

Nosebleeds are coming in children as they tend to either pick them or injure them.
However if she is having 1 or 2 a day over a period of days i would probably get them checked out by your GP.

Has your daughter got allergies/ cold/ or has injured or picked her nose?

When it is bleeding , is it a lot of blood?

I had loads of nose bleeds at that age, mostly due to re-picking in my sleep Blush

DD a few years ago was prone to them, triggered (and still) by body temp rising. I was told (by school welfare) that if they are over 20mins to go to doc / A&E.

Personally for the amount you have said and the number per day, yes I would go to the GP. There is a prescription cream you can get to help.

PPs are right that you should see GP. They can get an infection in their nostrils and a vicious circle starts with them picking etc. Cream sorted my DC pretty quickly.
