My 10 yr old son has always been the most likely of all my kids to pick up sickness bugs or an upset tummy. I don't think there is anything wrong with him as such, he's just definitely more prone to tummy bugs than the others. He's just had another bug and been sick a few times over a couple of days. Touch wood he's over it now.
Anyway, I'm getting the usual helpful advice from my mil and my grandma to take him to the doctor for a check up, buy him yoghurt drinks, give him castor oil once a week to strengthen his stomach.....
Is there anything you can actually do to strengthen someone's stomach? Is that even a thing? He generally has a healthy diet, we all eat much the same things, I'm always nagging him about washing his hands and he does, because he doesn't like being sick.
Or do we just have to accept that he's going to have more upset stomachs than the average kid?
We're on holiday this week too so it's been extra upsetting for him.
