Hi all. Looking for some advise my 10 year old has always suffered very badly from ear infections. Had grommets fitted at 4 and 5 years old. We went 3 years with infection. Then December 15 got a extremely bad one which ended up with him being hospitaled for 1 week due to a gland in neck becoming seriously infected resulting in him not being able to move one side of his body. In the last 9 months he has had 5 ear infections all causing neck pain (nothing like 2015 TG) after a number of antibiotics it is not clearling have seen our ETN consultant and were told grommets are not suitable for his age as infections should stop aged 6/7. Does anyone know why this is? And does anyone know any other suggestions to help stop these infections? Would love to speak with someone who's child same age also suffers. TIA.
