Broken wrist?

DS (6) had sports camp yday, they did tell me he'd hurt his arm but seemed ok. When I picked him up at 4 he wouldn't even let me strap him into his car seat (he kept saying he couldn't do it so I was). Couldn't take his coat off and he was in tears so as he's had a broken arm before I took him to A&E. X-rays (from elbow to wrist) showed no break but he was still refusing to even move the whole arm let alone use it. Bad nights sleep and he's still keeping it immobile today. The arm apparently doesn't hurt as much but he won't use his wrist and if I try and get him to put his hands palm up he won't and says his wrist hurts. Hoping to get a GP apt today but not sure what else I can do? I've tried to encourage him to use it, tried to trick him into it but he's not falling for it.

How is it now?

GP says bruised muscle and he'll start using it soon. He's able to raise it but not turn it but hopefully by tomorrow he can a bit more 👍
