DD2 (13m) came out in what I thought was an allergic reaction yesterday morning. I have her piriton and it calmed down but 4 hrs later reappeared. Another dose of piriton and it went again, until teatime when it came back.
So I took her to GP (can only have 2 doses in 24 hours) who shrugged and said it's not too bad and to wait for allergy testing. She was referred in April after a reaction to peanut butter but WL is 9 months.
DP (doctor) suggested giving her steroids, so I gave her 10mg prednisolone which worked brilliantly. Rash disappeared. For 2 hours, then came back!
She slept fine over night and was clear this am when I took DC to CM.
Text from CM that it was back at 1pm, they gave more piriton which cleared it, but by 5pm it was back. This time gave cetirizine (as recommended by DP) and it's gone again however she now has a temp of 38 and is quite restless.
Sorry for long post, but I'm mystified (and wonder whether to go back to Dr or just ride it out).
