Does anyone know what's on my son's eye?

DS has recently moved on to solids and has now got these red marks around his eyes (mainly left one). He also has a few odd spots around his face.
Does this look like an allergy/ eczema? It's definitely not his finger nails as trimmed them the other day.

On a separate note (and apologies if this is very obvious!)- we've recently moved and our new GP surgery doesn't have any pre booked appointments available until September. They have urgent appointments every day and although I wouldn't say this qualifies as urgent, I don't want to wait until sept for it to get sorted. Can I go to a pharmacist or should I explain to receptionist and try to get an apt?

Explain to the receptionist and get an appointment or maybe visit a pharmacist first and see what they say. Once I was unsure on my sons rash. Receptionist at the doctors were reluctant to give me an app and told me to see pharmacist who would tell me if DD needed to see a Gp (nothing every straight forward these days!).

It looks like it could be a little skin irritation, maybe eczema. I used to get eczema around my eyes! But you have to be careful what you use around the eyes - so definitely see a gp who can reccomend.
