Hi there
My baby girl is one month old and is breast fed, and she is constantly throwing back up the milk sometimes while she is in the middle of feeding on the breast. Health visitor was here this morning and said it's normal but since then it has become more thick and curdled looking and one throw up had greeny yellow colour to it like phlegm or snot. See picture attached. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

It's normal. Be guided by what health professionals are telling you and what they may advise and try and relax

Thank you. Only asking as when she was in hospital she was poorly and throwing up yellow/orange and they told me to keep an eye if it's yellow or green as that's not usually normal. I keep getting told different things that's all x

See or phone your GP if you're really worried but HV Says it's normal then try to follow their lead

Trust in qualified health professionals. It's just phlegm. Some babies projectile vomit after every feed - one of mine did it every day for six months! Needed a feed thickener in the end

What is happening here is normal unless your baby is otherwise unwell
