Do these look like normal chicken pox blisters to you?
It's day 5 since they came out, im a bit worried they look infected, all the others are much smaller scabs, red marks or blisters.

I'd get them seen just in case

RumbleMum · 16/07/2017 14:33

I'd head to the GP - your DC may have got impetigo in the chicken pox spots (happened to both mine).

iwishiwasrichandthin · 16/07/2017 14:42

My little boy had one or two bigger ones like that, he never touched them but one has left a little hole/dimple in his back.

If your worried call for advice.

Flowers chicken pox are horrible

LookAtAllTheBullshit · 16/07/2017 17:26

Normal & not infected.
He got a good case though!

BikeRunSki · 16/07/2017 17:33

Normal, in my experience of 2 DC.

picklemepopcorn · 16/07/2017 19:28

Just to clarify a previous post...

DO NOT GIVE IBUPROFEN

Just because I misread that post and don't want anyone else to!

Stardustandicecream · 16/07/2017 22:04

Please don't just go to dr as you'll pass chicken pox on to everyone in waiting room! Which will include vulnerable sick people old and newborn and possibly pregnancy people who have not been vaccinated.
Call and ask the dr to come do s house visit instead explaining that your child is infectious

Twopeapods · 16/07/2017 22:53

They look normal in my experience of the two DDs. Although DD1 did get badly infected pox. They were gunky and had huge red rings around them. Your don't look bad to me. But before docs try the pharmacist as they were the ones who gave me antibiotic cream and that cleared it up.
