Fused labia and toilet training issues

My 3yr old has fused since birth. She's had surgery and creams but it just returns. It's quite severe- only a tiny hole. This means she is having trouble on the toilet as her wee sprays everywhere. Has anyone else experienced this. Dr is reluctant to treat unless infections happen. Thanks

Can you see another Doctor? Or is it the specialist you mean?

I would consider a SheWee...it sounds terrible though...why won't they treat??

Get a second opinion. She can't be left like that surly?

Is your dd under a urologist? What do they envisage will happen in the long-term - is the condition likely to spontaneously resolve?

She's had surgery? Is this something she's had from birth? I ask because fused labia sometimes occur in women with lychen sclerosus. It seems to be a difficult thing to treat but there are forums where people discuss effective treatments.
